Selston Students 'Do The Right Thing'

We hope all involved in the accident at Langton Hollow on Friday 23rd of March are making a speedy recovery. We have received many positive comments from members of the public concerning our students reaction to the incident - see the letter below. After discussion, to reward those students who 'did the right thing', we would like to share more details of those involved. Firstly Luke Chambers-Clewes who witnessed the crash, standing on the Langton Hollow corner, he showed a great deal of maturity phoning the emergency services giving all the details required. Praise also must go to those students who being driven to school arrived at the crossroads and, although shocked conducted thermselves very well. These include J Worton, C Burditt, C Kirk, B Layton, O Whetton. Finally thanks must go to our staff, Mr and Mrs McKinlay and Mr Taylor who helped at the incident site and back at school, Mrs Green, Mr Wilson and Mrs Brough who were on hand with hot sweet tea when the staff and students returned to school. Well done Team Selston!!
