The School Bus is unable to pickup students in Ironville due to roadworks. We suggest walking as a group to the pickup point in Jacksdale.

The School will close at 2pm on Wednesday 23rd July. The Freeway buses will collect students at this time. Students who travel via service buses can make thier own arrangements or will be supervised in school.

During the holiday the school will be open for enquiries with admin support from 9am to 2pm as follows:  Thursday, 24th & Friday, 25th July, w/c Monday, 28th July, Tuesday, 5th August & Wednesday, 6th August, Monday, 18th August to Thursday, 21st August and Tuesday, 26th August through to Wednesday, 3rd September 2014.  The school re-opens for students on Thursday, 4th September 2014.  We wish you all a very restful summer holiday.

The Big Job Update
Steve Taylor and Chris Ridley, both Assistant Headteachers here at Selston High School, are planning to cycle the whole route of the Tour De France this summer in less days than it takes the professionals.
The challenge is raising money for The Daisy Garland, an epilepsy support charity and Mind. Recent events include:
  • The pair cycling to every Notts secondary school
  • A 'bag pack' at Tesco Top Valley
  • Cycling stage 2 of this years Tour De France culminating in a category 2 climb up to the summit of Holme Moss

The current total stands at £10,100
